Anybody know of a source for Magnum length Mauser extractors. I broke mine and need a replacement.

The only way I could get one was to import one directly from Prechtl.

I have tig welded a piece of stock to the rear of the extractor when doing 1917 conversions. Might be cheaper to have your smith extend the existing one than importing one thru NECG. I wish Jim Wisner would start making them again.

PS. the 358 Norma Mag is very nice

I'll see if I can dig it up. If not, it will be one of the first items we make on our new Haas mill.
