I have heard of him a few times is all I can provide.

I don't know about his restocking/stocking ability. I had a couple of rifles rebarrelled by Mr. Montgomery a few years ago. One was a pushfeed M70 from 30/06 to 338/06 AI and the other was a Rem M78 from .308 to .358 Win. Both rifles were well done, with a good price and quick turnaround time.
