I bought a pre-64 M70 which has a set trigger installed. I don't like set triggers on hunting rifles. Anyone out there have a pre-64 M70 trigger? I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price (and throw in a Millet set trigger.) Reply and I will e-mail any interested party. Ku-dude

Ku-Dude. I think the current Model 70 triggers and the pre-64's are the same. At least they are the same on my examples.
Has the floorplate been altered for that set trigger? On a Mauser I had, the trigger opening had been greatly enlarged to accomodate the trigger set up. You might have to replace the floorplate as well.
