butchlambertShilen Swap meet
We had a great time today. We swapped stuff, BS sessions, good food, and drink. Abunch of the guys took advantage of the barrel sale.
My cheapskate buddy went home with a pretty good amount of money and actually left with more than be brought. How about 20 new boxes of 7MM Weatherby Mag. at $6 per box? I bought 2 new boxes of 358 and 1 box of Norma 9.3x62. The guy had about 12 boxes of 300H&H, but I had no use for them $10 per box. He had some 401SL and some 32 rimfire. He didn't sell that stuff. David Christman had a nice display and also my Mexican with the double sq. bridge. I for got to take a photo. Jeffe tried to steal it. David brought my barrel for my Banner mauser. Jim Dubell bored, reamed, rerifled, and lapped it. It looks beautiful. He does great work. It saved a nice barrel with a full rib and claw mounts.
I would like to think Shilen for their hospitality.
We had people from Houston, Odessa, Wheeler [in the panhandle], Louisana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

riverman1Butch, I had a great time sat. I really enjoyed meeting some of the guys here on AR. I even sole a few items so all in all it was a great day.
Hog Killer, I went to our clubs annual belt buckle shoot sunday. I shot 100 rounds of skeet and 100 rounds of trap. My new ear plugs performes flawlessly, wish I could say the same for my shooting... Hmmmm maybe a new shotgun is in order...

LesBrooksI had hoped to be there, but a concrete man failed to show up for an estimate on a job for me. I am moving to Richland Chambers Lake.
I needed a 7 X 57 light weight barrel to finish up one of my long past projects.
My original stock machine and patterns would have been for sale. Maybe next year if all is well.
