Bargain at twice the price....I especially like the way the big knot in the wood is juxtapositioned with the thumb cut; and the clever use of spalted scraps on the $2,500 Remington.

SR4759At first glance it looks like a piece of walnut with a really large sapwood content.
The Remington Model 7 I though was distinguished by putting a huge POS scope on a compact rifle.
If you bury it, a tree will take root in that exact spot. Lovely thought isn't it?

SmallCalI'm not even close to knowing what I'm doing when stocking a rifle (yet) but I think I'd be scared to shoot that Model 7. Thin wrist, knot, grain flowing through the wrist on the left side but not on the right...
Maybe why it hasn't been shot? Or could just be me.

Andre MertensDe gustibus, non disputandum. This being said, I definitely dislike the "Frankenstein" look. Also, the asking price denotes a sharp sense of humour

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.
Perfect, for a rhinestone cowboy...

333_OKHOn the 204...................what is up with all of the cracks and checks in the stock....not to mention the poor quality redwood burl. I have a lot better pieces, but never thought of using it on a rifle
Should someone tell him what guns of that price range (any price range actually) should look like?

tiggertateI imagine he would resent the advice. Or he knows already, but is a beliver in the PT Barnum school of internet sales.

This may be the next great artist in the stockmaking field. People pay great dollars for art work.
