.275 Rigby muzzle dia?
What was a common muzzle dia on the .275 Rigby?

Or even on Mauser or other British Rifles.
From the 20s' & 30s' era.

I was having an 8x57 being built
but had a change of heart & going with
7x57 to go with the 404J Steve Button
is building for me.

Open sight only pre-war Rigby/Jeffery
style rifles.

LW type E barrels. Steve already has
tha 404 barrel & most of the action
work done.

I'll post some more info later.

They got put on hold for a bit...
Ah, the fun of divorce! Lol!

But we're rolling again!

It's a Mauser thing, you wouldn't understand.

Lothar Walther has those barrels listed on their site, with specs (as they make them now). They'll do custom work also.

I would think 0.625 (or there-abouts) would be what you'd want. Too thin and it won't look correct.

You'll never be sorry you went with the 7x57.

Mine, at 22", measures .558" and seems about perfect on the M96. The stock will be going out in March for a "leaning job" to better align with the metal work.

Yes Boxhead, would love to hear full details on that rifle. Classic.
