Bad Muzzle Brake might have been the cause
I bought my Browning A-bolt and had Shooting World in Boise put a muzzle brake on it. I took it to a very experienced gunsmith in Horseshoe Bend Id and he asked me who did the work. He went on to explain that the vents on the brake were 3/4" past the end of the barrel. Plus, there were aggressive threads in that gap that caused the gases to have some turbulence behind the bullet. He explained the venting should be a continuation of the crown. Long story ... well, not short, he is fixing the brake and giving my gun a trigger job. I get the gun back next week and will take it out and see if my accuracy problems are fixed. I'll keep you posted.
