Snap the ejector rod? Wow, that's pretty tight.
BTW, the proper tool at the factory is a machinist vice with lead covered jaws tightened on the rod so as to not let it slip. Two empties inserted into the cylinder. Hand tighten with the cylinder.

KurtCBesides putting a few empties in the cylinder, put the yoke in place as well to keep the rod from bending while you tighten it.

ClemsonIf you are taking the ejector rod out after every range trip, I would suspect that you are being a bit TOO thorough in your cleaning. You are putting more wear on the gun cleaning it than you do shooting it.
