What seems to be the going price for a bare Weatherby Vanguard action RH in SS?

be aware that the action has metric threads and not many smiths can thread a barrel to fit it.

Excellent point!! I'd forgotten that little twist to the situation. I'll have to do some additional checking around and see what I can come up with on that matter.
