DoublessA word about DPCD...
I sent a ML "project to Tom a month or so ago. I had asked around and nobody wanted to do a barrel replacement on a long-discontinued White ML.
Well, the rifle arrived back home today, and it looks for all the world like a brand new rifle. Tom had to remove the old barrel, contour the new one so it fit the stock, drill and tap/thread the new barrel for the breach plug, affix the ramrod thimbles to the new barrel, re-attach the front sight, and then Ceracoat the rifle.
In a word, he is a master (but I knew that after looking at Rich's rifle that Tom did the stock work on).
Many thanks, sir. You did me a huge favor, and your talents are incredible.
My best, sir.

Brandon.GleasonThat is excellent news! I've a white I purchased from you a few years back that I've yet to touch. Cerakote sounds like a wonderful option for late season muzzleloader hunting in the northeast.
You've a PM incoming, sir.

Seems to be pretty much all of it. Stock work, customs, barreling. Lots of examples of his work on these forums.

Idaho SharpshooterHe is one of not enough true full service gunsmiths around these days.
I cannot compliment him too highly.

drhall762Wanted to add my 2 cents worth. I have had several dealings with dpcd and each one has been a pleasure.
Most recently I contacted him to cut a shoulder and thread a barrel. It was for a P14 and I HATE cutting those square threads. He not only cut the shoulder and threads but coned the breach as well. Over and above what I expected.
I have spoken to him on the phone on several occasion. I hope our paths cross where I can thank him in person and shake his hand.

bluefishTom has done work for me which I have commented on here before as well as sharing a compliment paid to him by Dennis Olson.
I enjoy Tom's patience and knowledge and have a second project going with him as well. A really nice guy to deal with.
