<338Lapua>Arnold Arms
I just got an Arnold Arms Accu-Custom 220 Swift. It has some sort of teflon coating on the gun. Does anyone know more about these rifles, and does anyone know how to tell if the barrel is stainless?
The gun is built on a Sako L571 action with a very heavy barrel and a McMillen varmint stock.
Thanks for info.

Terry BlauwkampTo find out if it is stainless, put a dab of cold blue on exposed spot on the barrel or crown, and see if it blues.
If not, then it is stainless.
Sounds like a bloody nice rifle !!

Customstox338Lapua,
Arnold Arms was a Washington State rifle manufacturer until this last spring when they closed their doors. One of the services that they did offer was an accuracy program for your rifle. I don't know all of the particulars that lead to their downfall. I was there for the auction and bought a number of barrels and other items. They had an action that they built and it supposedly was very accurate.
