I received the following email just a few minutes ago and wanted to address it immediately: (I have deleted certain parts not pertaining to this subject.)
Good Afternoon,
Was just wondering if all that I am reading on the Accurate Reloading Forum is fairly accurate. I do have to say that I have some concern if what is being said about Dan is true, that he is no longer with the company, I have dealt with Dan since last January and found him to be very courteous and generous with information. Any information that could be shared with me would be greatly appreciated.

Although I haven't been on here in a while I am still with the Montana Rifleman and Montana Rifle Company. They would have to just about kill me to get me to leave here. I think where the confusion came from is that we had a salesman that was also named Dan. I asked him to go by "Daniel" to try to ensure that nobody thought he was me. Unfortunately I think at times he went by Dan and really caused confusion on the customers part. Well anyway, unfortunately Daniel is no longer with the company as he found opportunities elsewhere.
So breath easily everyone (at least those of you who care ) I am still here to help in any way that I can.

I had a message on my phone the other day that I thought said Dan about my action being ready when I called and asked for you they said you had left the company.

one thing i would like to say to dan, rod and the rest of the crew over there is that i REALLY appreciate the complete and total open door that they have shown with us. i could never in a million years imagine remington, savage, ruger or any of the other "big" companies making such great efforts to stay in touch with us.

lets face it, customers can be very demanding and critical, even when they have no idea of the processes involved when a company is taking on a project like this. MRC has beentotally open to feedback. not only have they done their best to respond to every query (no matter how picayune), they have also taken much of this feedback and have used it to improve their products and their procedures. what more can a customer ask?

it is dedication such as this attention to the needs of the customers that MAKES a company, just as sure as an indifferent, apathetic cmpany will evenutally push customers to seek alternatives. an example of this is the huge exodus from american manufacturers to european or even japanese rifle manufacturers.

keep up the great work! i am proud to be a fellow montanan!

What is the latest news on when the LH long actions will start shipping?

When will the RH, short, stainless, standard bolt face actions be shipped??

The left hand long actions will start to ship between the first week to mid-November. They will ship according to make up. That is, when we have the machine shop start machining them they will do batches of the same make up, i.e. chrome moly magnums etc. We are pushing hard on all of the actions. We expect to have the short action, right hand stainless standards start coming out in about a week or two.
