Challenge to convert ?
Which is more challenging to convert to left-hand operation ?

A right-hand Weatherby Mark V or a Colt Sauer action ?

Given those choices it would probably be more of a challenge, but more cost effective to convert you to shooting right handed. Big Grin

RH Weatherby + $$$$ = halfassed LH Weatherby

RH Weatherby = $$

$$ + $ = New LH Weatherby.

Seems to me you would be $ ahead to sell the Weatherby and buy a new LH one.

Purchasing a left-hand rifle is no challenge.

Learning to shoot right-handed has already been done.

But for a gunsmith to earn Glory there must be challenge to it.

How about this, getting a right handed rifle to eject a spent case over the shooters left shoulder landing in a brass spittoon tuned to the key of "F sharp". Would that earn someone Glory? Big Grin

Westpac.

Years ago it sounded like OH S&%T

I had to test fire for function the Kimber Big Game Rifle in 505 Gibbs, because Greg Warne of Kimber was going to hunt Africa. So 5 rounds from the shoulder as fast as I could. Greg made the MISTAKE of reaching out not once but twice and catching the empties before they hit the ground.

Hammer.
The Challange is see who can fix correctly, the most screwed up attempted gunsmith repairs.

I'm thinking he reached out for the second one because he couldn't believe how bad the first one burned. Big Grin
