Have you checked with Dennis Olson? I'm assuming you have but thought I would ask.

Is there any advantage to building a 10.75 x 68 over a 404 Jeffery?
20 March 2005, 06:52
Atkinson
The 10.75 x 68 fits in a standard Mod. 98 box and looks like it will feed without much, if any, rail work, the bolt face will need to be opened a tad....

Advantage?? who knows, I,m just having fun with a neat old caliber that the more I play with it the better I like it, otherwise we'd all be shooting a 375 and a 416 Remington..Wow!, talk about hell on earth, everyone shooting such mundane calibers...What would we fight about? beer

I need one too (a 10.75x68 reamer, that is)!!

I'm too cheap to spend the $180 to have the reamer made when I'm only going to use it one time...

My favourite load is the 347 grs RNSN from Woodleigh, with a powder charge of 66grs Rottweil R902.
It will duplicate the original RWS datas.

The group is shoot on 100m with a 9x scope.

Ray: It might be worth giving Martini and Hagn in Cranbrook a call. I'm sorry, I've misplaced their number but I think you can get it from the ACGG site.

Could you show a closeup and possibly the other side of that scope mount?

What kind is it?

Thanks,

JIm Brockman said if he could get 3 jobs for 10.75 x68 that he would buy a reamer....

Dennnis Olson can rent a reamer, as can anyone it appears...

Problem solved...

Mike,
it´s the original EAW (Ernst Appel) side mount with double lever release.
I have no picture from the other side, only this one from right.
