lb404stock delema for a Mauser B modle
I recently acquired a B grade mauser rifle in 9.3x62. It is not a collectable and needs restocking as well as some other work. At the last Gunmakers Guild show, Kathy Forster had a rifle she had stocked. It was one of the finest designs I had seen in a while and it was also quite simple in its elegance. As she is not doing any stocking now, I would really like to find a similarly patterned stock to copy. Would any of the forum members have a picture of her rifle? Can those interested in panographing a blank for me send me some ideas for this piece?

Iron BuckThe gun smith making my 35 Whelen right now has a rifle he is doing for another client based on the mauser pattern B. It is a SWEET little rifle design. I plan on having him make me one in 06 after he finishes my Whelen.
Here is a picture, in the white & un finished as of a few weeks ago
Gary Stiles of Homer City PA did all the work. He even made the octagon/ cylindrical barrel. VERY nice. The ebony forend tip, while not 100% historically correct ........looked great.
