A close friend of mine recently aquired a Colt Combat Commander in satin nickel. The piece has a few sratches/handling marks on the finish and he asked me if I knew how to get rid of them without refinishing the whole gun. Which of course I don't. Which of course is why I am asking here. Any suggestions?

If the scratches are not too deep, some fine Sctchbrite will clean them up.
