MatabeleWho's your tooling supplier
Hi all,
I'm just wondering who your go to tool and equipment suppliers are for things like end mills, precision measuring equipment and general shop tools like wrenches or Allan keys etc?
Thanks!

ChiefenMSC does not ship overseas; claims they cant because of anti-terrorlaws...

brad mayLooks like McMaster-Carr won't ship over seas either.
A lot of Kennametal tools are made over seas. Maybe they
can help you out. They own MSC, also.

MatabeleThanks for the replies guys, appreciate it. I will give Kennametal a try. McMaster Carr even kicked me off browsing their site due to "unusual browsing behaviour"...whatever that means.

That's who I use too. But mostly because they are local and I can walk in and pick up what I need. And the counter guys can usually discount the stuff quite a bit over their list prices.

Toomany ToolsI only buy from MSC when I can't find t at ENCO. They are part of the same company but ENCO prices are ALWAYS a lot lower than MSC.

h2oboyI used to use ENCO but I buy everything through MSC now. I average 40% off of list on things like taps and endmills. They will sell me anything at the same price as ENCO. I get almost everything overnight and I don't pay for shipping if I call in my order.

Why I go in person. They can and will beat enco prices if you know who to talk to. I always get 15-50% off list.
