OK i'm looking at buying my first synthetic stock. I have not seen or touched any of the higher end rifle stocks. Is there a difference in the fit of the stock to the shooter of a HS Precision versus a Mcmillan, or a Bell and Carlson Medalist?? Many thanks,

Many differences between and within manufacturers depending on the model. The largest variable, in my experience has been weight and weight distribution.

Its really hard to make a recommendation when personal tastes are so varied. I would call each mfg that interests you and get some idea of the variations from them.
