MacifejAxial concentricity alignment centrifuge. There's a French company which makes a Digital one with liquid nitrogen heat sink. PM "Edmond" here - he may be able to help you out.

Hei!

dsitemanI know it may sound crude and foolish, but have seen some quite competent gunsmiths simply fix the barrel in a holding device/vice, etc. and after looking through the barrel for a bit, give it a good "whack" with a mallet/hammer until they see a somewhat perfectly round hole- not oval w/ a shadow in the bore. Not quite as scientific as other approaches, but it does work. Good luck.

Duane WiebeHere's another way: Put a bag of shot on the bench and swing the barrel down in the proper direction to sraighten...go lightly at first, you'd be surprised how easily this goes. You can also use a spare tire as the "anvil"

ireload2Put it under the quill of a milling machine with it supported on both end and the high point up.
Push down with the quill gently.
If that does not work crank up the knee.
You can also do this on a heavy lathe by rotating the bow toward the tool post and then pushing the bow with the tool post.

homebrewerBend open your wallet. You'd be amazed at how well the proper amount of legal tender applied to the right places around town works to repair damage of all sorts. If that fails, there is always mail order...
Press it out slowly in your drillpress.
High spot up , blocks of wood out supporting the ends of the barrel , gentle pressing . Look through the hole to see if it has improved or not .
If all else fails , go buy another cheap air rifle .....

The SpecialistCheap airgun, then a jig made from a C clamp and bits of 2x4 will do just fine.

<xs headspace>I "sighted in" a cheap bolt action 12 ga with a 36" barrel for a friend for shooting slugs, using a maple tree with 2 trunks at the range. Moved the impact 12" at 50 yds. He was pleased, I never told him how I did it. I used to bend conduit for a living in a previous life!
