22/250 Ackley Improved

can anyone help me with the dimensions of the 22/250 Ackley Improved----I`m especially after the outside diameter at the shoulder. A new standard unfired case measures .417 (Hornady manual ) thanks

The P.O. Ackley books are a wealth of information but Ken Howell's "Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges" in ten times the reference work. You can get it through Precision Shooting Magazine. It's by far the best reference work on cartridge dimensions on the market.

Clymer reamer's website has .455 for the shoulder of their 22/250 AI reamer.
