Jim Wisner is now making m70 style safety for Mauser 98. Just thought some people would like to know. $175 each + shipping.

Are these different from the ones he has made for years?

Is this the 3 position, or the 2 position conversion of the 98 shroud?

Those are the 2 position ones, and are selling for $125 here. That of course doesn't mean that they aren't selling for $175 someplace else.

But it would be very nice if another player came on to the scene with a good quality 3 position safety.

Well, this got about a day ahead of me.

I will be posting a new add in the classified, very soon, once I get my pics lined up as to be posted.

Yes they are a new machined sleeve for the MAUSER M98 in a THREE POSITION M70 type safety.
I just finished assembling 62 of them yesterday afternoon.
