Warthogs (African, but not big)

I am planning a shooting trip in Africa for April.
We're mainl going for Lynx, Jackal and Warthog. I was planning to take the 243 using 70 gain heads for the Lynx and Jackal, but will this be up to the task for the Warthogs.

I think you would be taking a risk with a light 6mm bullet on a Warthog. They're tough critters and you don't always get a chance to set up your shots well.
