Howe-Whelem sight
I am looking for some information on an old peep sight. It is a Howe-Whelen bolt shroud peep sight. Anyone know how it works? Did it come in different models?

AFAIK it was made only for the 1903 Springfield, and today is worth lots of money if in good shape. It had/has a rep for being soft and thus not lasting very long if manipulated too often. The safety lever is located on the right side.

Michael Petrov knows as much about these as anyone, I suggest you contact him for further info.
Good luck, Joe

Thanks for the pics, I have read a little about them and was curious what they looked.
