Is This a Recknagel/NECG sight set?

These pictures are of my Sako AV in .338 Win Mag. I like them.
Thanks for the info.

I don't think so but there are similarities.

"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

they are different, at least from the current NECG sights.

I have scavenged up a few sets, as I like them also. They come on A series Sako's, various Tikka's, and a few Steyrs

Thanks,
I'll see what I can do with an NECG to get close.

The rear certainly is. Looks to be a 17115-00xx, where xx is the blade overall height in millimeters. Available in 12, 14, 15 and 16 heights. The front ramp may be a special, as Recknagel don't list screw-fixed ramps of quite that style.

You can get the Recknagel catalogue free from this webpage, but there ain't much English in it. And only dealers can get a price list with it.

I've bought from necg, but they don;t catalogue that rear sight. I'll give them a call.

Looking closer at the pics in the Recknagel catalogue, the front ramp doesn't match any there. The Recknagel ramps have the blind end of the hood slots to the rear. None with a rear screw hole either, though that's of no great significance.

The rear sight may be a 'mix and match' too, of a 16015-2016 base, and a 15105-0016 leaf - this is a blank leaf, with no notch. Easy enough to file it to duplicate the Sako one though. The leaf on the sight P/No I gave earlier has a shallow vee, with square notch. Not flat-top, as in LD's pics.

Thanks so much!
I'll probably get a handful and mill as needed.
