Gentlemen,
I would like to have a 98 Mauser bolt face opened to Remington Ultra Mag diameter, .535. My intent is to form 375 RUM brass to a rimless version of the rebated 425 WR and use this bolt rather than alter the original bolt. This will allow me to return the rifle to it's original state at any time by switching back to the original bolt and cases. I already have the doner bolt, just need some advise as to who can do the bolt face opening.

By all accounts it seems as if our Z1R (Mike McCabe) could do this for you. There are some recent threads with much praise for his abilities.

There are also other talented smiths here that could do a bang up job. James Anderson comes to mind
