WestpacThe 375 Weatherby is essentially the 375 Ackley Improved. I would go with that. Either way it is a simple rechamber.

ramrod340For my $$ I would go 375H&H AI. Same capcity as the 375Wby. I just don't care for the double radius shoulder. There shouldn't be much if any feed work needed. As to the rechamber I've seen it from as low as $90. Probably more in the $150-200.
As usual just my $.02

Even though it headspaces on the belt, the barrel has to be pulled and should really be set back 1 thread for a clean job. If someone ever tells you that they can do this without removing the barrel, run like your life depends on it.

McCrayJust a FWIW...remember that there are two different 375 Weatherby reamer spec. The older, original has about 3/4 inch of free bore. Some reamer grinders are still using this spec.
There is also a later .375ish" freebore that is easier to get good accuracy with. Manson, for one, uses this spec.
You can get a 300 grain to 2800 with either.
So talk it over with your gunsmith.

WestpacMyself, I only offer the Ackley version and throat separately. Around these parts, 5000' + elevation, we can get 270 gr bullets zipping along over 3000 fps. 250's well beyond that. Pretty impressive down range performance. One of my all time favorites!
