Terry-

Your complements are much appreciated!!! BTW, Friends, please be advised that our own TC1 assisted me with the wood selection; it is Turkish walnut acquired from Denli with the great eye for picking blanks provided by Terry.

Terry, yes, this rifle has had as many incarnations as your 9.3. Big Grin

Heres a pic of one of my 1917's. I'm in the process of working on the stock. I got a rough turned stock from a fellow AR member. I still have a long ways to go.

I may just keep it 30-06. I am also having a winchester being made into a 416rem right now.

A lesson in irony

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us... "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

Thus ends today's lesson in irony.
