yumastepsidemagazine followers
When you go to a larger/longer case in a rifle conversion,is there a longer magazine follower you can use or do you have to make one?
I'm converting my P14 303 to 9.3x74R and basically need a 375H&H length follower.
Does someone make them or do you use one from another rifle.
Any help appreciated

xausaWhen I converted a 1903 Springfield to .458 Winchester Magnum, I used a Model 70 Winchester follower. I am sure a Model 70 .375 H&H follower would work with your Enfield, although modifying it to resemble a Pattern 14 follower would probably not be a bad idea.

dpcdI have used M70 followers too in Enfields, and Brownells sells mag followers. But it ain't the length that is most important.

yumastepside....yes, shape is important, but I have to find one long enough to re-shape to start with.I'l try Brownells and Numrich.
One of the few problems of living here is that pretty much everything has to be imported and that takes time....and gumbiment red tape

Mike RayI may or may not have problem feeding 6.55 x 55 in pre-64 70 action. picks them up fine with 4 down but if you put in 5 or close bolt on 4 down seems they pivot on shoulder and bolt rides over.

Don MarkeyI believe Duane Weibe will export to you. And then you will have it already shape correctly. Just ask for the matching mag box size and it will take a lot of the trial and error out.
