<dennishoddy>Lignose, One Hand Cocker
I'm new to the BB, and this is my first post.
I recently bought a small .25 cal semi auto pistol with the name of Lignose on the grips. All the writing on it is in german, and was informed by a family member at the estate sale where I bought it, that their grandpa had captured it in WW-2. It has a 6 shot clip, and was informed that it wouldn't fire, but after taking it apart, I found a piece of lint blocking the firing pin. Shoots fine now. Its called a "one hand cocker" because of the design where you only have to put your trigger finger in front of the trigger guard, pull back, and cock it that way. I would like to find out a little history on it if anybody knows anything about this pistol, and maybe what its worth. Any help would be really appreciated.

SamBLignose, successors to Theodor Bergmann, Suhl, Germany, c.1925
4 basic models (2, 2A, 3, 3A), all in .25 ACP
Einhand (one hand) cocking as you described. The 3 and 3A models have a long grip.
Range of values from $200 to $300, original wood grips being more valuable

<dennishoddy>I appreciate the response! I don't have a computer at home, and I can only browse during breaks and lunch. I guess my $25 dollar investment payed off!
