A-Bolt Micro Hunter Stock??
I just got my first Browning rifle, an A-Bolt Micro Hunter in 7mm-08. I have pretty much stuck with Remington until now. I would like to upgrade the stock with a good fiberglass or laminate stock. Do any of you know who makes one? I have had no luck at all in finding anything so far.

Thanks,

Bob

I have a micro A-bolt in 7mm08 with a McMillian stock on it. Makes a nice handling combination.

Thanks guys. From their web-site, it didn't appear that they had one. I will call them in the morning.

Well, it is back to square one. Kelly just got back with me from McMillan: "After further checking I have found that the depth through the magazine is much shallower on the Micro than it is on the standard A-bolt and we do not have a stock to accomodate it. Sorry." Kelly

The question is back on the table. Can anyone help????

Ok, Bob. MOI, Garret Accur-lt, HS Precision, and brown Precision all list A-bolts. whether they have them for the Micro-hunter I don't know. You'll have to check. Hope this helps. - Dan

Dan,

Thanks, but they don't. The Micro is to the A-Bolt what the Model 7 is to the 700. I just don't think they have sold enough yet to have generated a market big enough for the stockmakers to take interest in.

If anyone comes up with anything....let me know.

Thanks,

Bob
