mauser action SCREWS thread pitch
having an arguement here at work on this..

i may have fat fingered a project for a buddy..

what's the pitch of the action SCREWS on a 98?

1/4x 28? (that's enfield)
1/4x24?

Jeffe,

Recheck that Enfield!!! Try 1/4 X 30 it I remember correctly. I have a chart showing most action screws and I should have put it on the CD. If I can find it I will send you a copy.

Here is an short run down of the sizes.

Mauser 98 1/4x22
US Krag & 1903 1/4x25
Rem 700 1/4x28, NF threads
Win 70 1/4x32
