Durango vs Highlander vs ????
Flex, Pilot, Traverse

been crunching number. <$35K budget

I'm leaning to the Highlander . I usually put about 3-4k miles a year on a car. Most of my usage will be either 4 mile or 200 mile trips.

-third row will be down 99% of the time
-2 to 4 people, range bags rifle cases.
-rare off roading, been plenty of snow here though.

GC, CX-9, etc. are too small

1) Pilot
2)Highlander
The others are not worth considering

None of my business, but we're going thru a similar process. The CX-9 is basically larger in almost every dimension and in cargo capacity than the Highlander or the 2015 Pilot (specs, AFAI can tell not available on 16 model), but it will only seat 7.

Of your two choices, I'd slightly lean towards the Honda because I think you will have better resale values, especially based on your projected mileage.

Just for the hell of it, I will point out the crew cab or quad cab pick ups will do most of what you specify and can carry a helluva lot more stuff that is usually more accessible.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Thank guys. I was originally thinking of a 4dr Tacoma pickup. CX9 has much less space than the others.

2 friends have Crew Ram 1500's. one has a cap. Just too big for me.

I'd never buy a GM either.

My oldest son has a Hybrid Highlander. They like it and it has been trouble free, but the gas savings of being a hybrid will never pay for the difference.
