2011 Super Duty experiences?
Very interested in hearing from anyone that gets some experience with one. Hope that Ford has turned a corner with this one.

Emissions regulations for one reason. Plus, the 7.3 had plenty of problems of it's own. It looks good when compared against the 6.0, but don't kid yourself, the 7.3 was no cummins.

I have read you have to pull the cab to do anything other than a filter change.

So, 1-2 hours of labor before the real charges start.

Not saying it is true, but what I have read.

Too early to tell with the 6.7, but looks good on paper. Reverse flow heads a neat idea, tons of power on paper.

As for the 7.3, most will agree that that is the powerstoke to have. 290K on my 2000 and runs like a top, easly boosts to 400 hp, and aside from some oil leaks is bullet proof. Yes you have to pull the cab for any major engine work, but unless you abuse it, that won't happen till 500-750K. All the minor stuff can be done no problem. Parts easy to come by at any IH truck center, hardest part is changing 16 quarts of oil.

Tons of aftermarket support. Keep the boost below 30 psi and it will last forever.

I'll wait on the new one and buy it used if I want it. 50-60K is alot of coin for a truck, but I hear it rides nice.
