Anybody have a hypertech
Thought about trying one of these on my Dodge cummins. No complaints but somethimes with a heavy load in the hills a bit more power would be nice. Thinking 50-60 more HP would be nice.

I have heard of several diesel sites. I am a member of turbo diesel register. Most guys want to up it to way more power than I want. Some have more power than they can use. The egt's get them after a while.

Just picked up a 2010 Cummins the other day. Nothing available "yet" to change the performance but they say it's coming. Not sure if I'll do anything but if it gets me more mpgs then maybe.....

Let us know how the Hypertech works if you do it.

got the hypertech. Lots of power. Seventy five HP is a good seat of the pants feel. IMO was money well spent if you tow often. I just got back froma 3200 mile trip and never unhooked the trailer. Lifetime warranty as well.

If your vehicle is still under warrenty, will it still be covered using a hypertech or something similar?

Yes, there is no footprints. Plug it in under the port thing under the steering and follow the directions. If the truck needs to visit the dealer just simply follow the directions to uninstall it.

First thing I would do is add a bigger exhaust, then a Stage 2 air intake.
Those two alone will help out.
All the chips in the world will not help if you can't get air in and out quicker.
