Bed Cover for Pickup
I just bought a Ford F 150 and would like to put some kind of low profile hard cover on the bed. I want a cover I can lock. A friend suggested a Diamond Back in black coating since my truck is black. On a previous truck I had a Leer but found it limiting when in use space wise. I understand there are some good rollup styles available but no nothing about them. Any advice is appreciated!

LuckyduckerI bought a model year left over Ram 2500 long box last fall and shortly thereafter installed a "Roll-n-Lock" bed cover on it. I wouldn't sell that cover for anything less than I paid for it. They aren't cheap ($2000+) but are worth every cent. They are lockable and very secure, and also roll out of the way when you want to haul something that won't fit under the cover.

Matt NormanI bought one of the Extang Trifecta covers and am very pleased with it. No holes to drill. It's stout enough that I can put two deer on top of it. It folds up out of the way for larger loads or can be easily removed if the entire bed is needed. It can completely removed or re-install it in less than five minutes by one person. Offers a certain amount of security to the contents of the bed when the tailgate is locked.

BEGNOI bought a new F-150 in December. My son did all the research and we both decided on a G2 Bak Flip. He put one on his new Ford first and I waited to see if it was as advertised. Yep, I now have one.
Very nice, hard, folding, watertight, locks.

N E 450 No2I think I am going to put the BAK retractable cover on the 1998 Ford F 150 I just bought.
My wife has an electric retractable on ther 1992 F 150 farm truck and I like it.
You can open it up all the way or just part way.
The BAK retractable in not electric it is manual, which I like even better, ie simpler.
It has no locks or latches exposed.
It installs with no drilling into your truck.
