Winches
I need a winch for my Jeep Wrangler. What brands are good and what size is best?

I have a 12,000lb Warn on my F-250 and have been happy with it. It's been very handy the couple of times I've needed it!!

I wouldn't go less than 8,000lb's on your Jeep and I would get a good snatch block and keep a spare solenoid or two with you just in case one goes out.

Wow...that was a great article! I just ordered the Engo 10,000 with synthetic rope.

Going through the ratings and test performances, I'd say you made a wise choice. Smiler

I run Warn winches on most of my ranch trucks & they have performed

flawlessly, however they are expensive & I'll probably look awfully

hard at those Engo winches in the future. Lot of bang for the buck!

Here's a pic of my hunting rig with a Warn winch on the "headache rack", it

is moveable & have wired receiver hitches on both the front & back. Very handy!
