That looks like a very nice area. We did get some good snow, and sun, last week didn't we? I was at Les Arcs 1800 visiting my daughter who works at the Ecole de Ski Francaise (ESF) and skied on Friday. Driving back to Paris on Saturday was another story though.

We arrived on the 4th, with hardly any snow down in the valley.

In fact, some of the slopes were closed as partway down from the top one cannot ski all the way down.

Chatel/Avoriaz area is very nice, as long as there are not too many people.

On some of the days the mornings were great, but as the day progressed, far too many people were on the slopes.

Les Arcs, above the town of Bourg St. Maurice, is a big skiable area, and the lifts can take you across the valley to La Plagne as well. There weren't as many people as one can expect during the February or April school vacation periods, so it seemed OK last Friday. Besides, the French hot chocolate with whipped cream, when drank at an Alpine refuge, tastes good:
