KMG Hunting SafarisRecent Trip- KMG Hunting Safaris- Eastern Cape, South Africa
Good day Gentleman,
I have just said goodbye to an Australian couple who decided to spend their honeymoon hunting with us. Richard and Janel Ali arrived here on 17 July at 11:40, with Rich taking his Bushpig at 20:20 the same night. After Rich had taken 4 animals in 3 days, his wife showed us how its done with a Blesbok and Impala 10 minutes apart. Unfortunately they are not AR members, although he found me from some of my posts on here.I will see if I can twist his arm to take some time from his busy schedule to post a full report. We had such a great time that it would be a crime to not share the awesome memories with the rest of you. I am pleased to say that I have made new lifelong friends and look forward to many hunting days with them in the future. They will be returning next May, followed by my wife and myself visiting them and trying our luck on a Red Stag and some pigs! Enjoy the photos!
Best Regards

Scott SpencerNice animals for your hunters, Marius!! Congratulations on putting them on such fine species.
Question: Are the silencers required or is that simply at the discretion/option of the hunter?
All the best,
Scott

KMG Hunting SafarisHi Scott,
Thank you for the kind compliments.
How are you my friend?
Regarding the silencer, it is certainly not required. This is my rifle in the photos, and 100% to the discretion of the hunter. It makes a massive difference, especially to hunters, who might be a bit recoil/noise shy. It probably reduces recoil by 50%. This rifle is a 308 Win, and recoil is probably on par with a .222's recoil. I was very anti silencer/suppressor, because it interferes with the rifle's balance and general appearance. I have to say that once you have one fitted, that you will never look back. An absolute pleasure to shoot.
Best Regards
Marius
