Wild boar in Romanian Carpathians

Greetings from Romanian Carpathians.

The snow was large all the winter long ...even now it is mountains .

We are feeding the game everyday to keep it in good condition .

Here are some pics with the feeding places and closed high-seats situated near each feeding place .

We harvested some good boars during the winter with guests :

Thank you very much . Indeed were nice boars . The average of the tusks of the larger one in the left was 24 cm. The small one 20,1 cm .

Preparation of the field : There is no special preparation because we feed the game every day and the high-seats are already done. So basically, we know what and where use to come . Before the hunts we put out the cameras to collect more information. Gun was 375 H&H Sauer . The boars were shot in same evening . First was shot in one place and after that we moved to other spot and we were lucky. The snow was fresh and was possible to approach the high-seat without noise.
