OK not a real Pelican. This is like the Apache Harbor Freight box. I made the tray out of 1/2" ply. The bottom is a Poly cafeteria tray (cheaper than buying a 12x24 sheet of Poly). I'll make one more tray for the foam pistol cutouts.

Clear boxes are Plano 3500 - 5x9 and MTM ISC9.

Here's tray number 2. Took my time, sanded, finished with velvit oil. Holes added to help with lifting it out of the case, will do the same to the other.

Plan on double layer foam , top for 1911 type, bottom for revolvers and Desert Eagle.
