Yesterday I lost my hunting partner, friend, and companion. This November will be the first phesant season in thirteen years without Rusty. After all the years of hunting, his heart was still there, but his hips and body were not. I know I will see that Rusty colored shorthair again someday.

I feel for you. My best friend, a GSP, went many years ago, but I still miss him alot.

Sorry for you deep loss. My little dog doesn't hunt anything but lizrds in the hedges, but she's my best friend. I hope she lasts a lot longer.

I know what you feel ,i lost several of my dogs in recent years ,but 2 were all the day with me PAIMUN and his son LANHUEL ,i only hope to see all my dogs again ,in the valhalla.
Please continue hunting and get another dog he would like it .
Anything i can do just ask ,if you want to visit me a couple of days and shoot some doves you are welcome.
