Yesterday my hunter hit this bear pretty good but the bugger still got away,, I tracked a good bloodtrail for 1/4mile and then it petered out. I then collected my wife and Tar,,with tar on a leash (legal in Ak) we follwed for about a mile in a big loop,Tar's alert level went total maximum in a small glade and we jumped the bear at 30'. I was carrying my 458 Win Mag and sealed the deal! It would have never gotten done without excellent training and handling of Tar and the splended breed he is!

Good looking dog, lovely lady great bear. What is that homely critter in the back ground?
You would think the lady and dog would be more chosey about who they hung out with.
