I did not read the article, don't have to. I have never met anyone that did not shed tears over a long time companion animal, dog/cat/bird/horse etc. it is just part of being a human and having the capacity to love.


Even the rocks don't last forever.

It is always heartbreaking to have to put down your best friend. A lot of times, they will tell you when it's time. You can see it in their eyes. They are tired and want to go to the happy hunting grounds.

A new one to train will come along. It helps ease the pain of the loss, but the momories are always with you.

One of Gods dirty tricks, our pets don't last as long as we do.
