Who knows when the first wolf pups moved in next to the fire but I'm sure they were looked at as a mobile food source. Until very recently, the indians and eskimoes had the same consideration for dogs. And so, are you going to put the nice, friendly one in the pot or the snarly one. Thus the friendly genes are reinforced.
