Anyone Know of any Beagle Kennels or Breeders

I'm comtemplating buying a Beagle and I was wondering if any of you knew of any breeders, kennels, or anybody selling any. There's plenty of Beagles here in Miami Florida, but I'm looking for something with hunting background & not some puppy mill dog.

I am a good way North of you, but if you tell me what traits you are looking for I will try to help. There are a lot of good guys out there that are proud to have there name on Registration Certificate as the breeder and in doing that spend an unbelievable amount of time evauluateing hounds in the search for a special litter.

I breed off the branko lines that I outcross with Northway and Striker blood. I want HUNT, LINE CONTROL, BRAINS, Solid Medium + Speed, Conformation and the dog must handle like a dream. Most people that hunt behind my dogs kill rabbits, but they also brag about how they seen the dogs answer to voice and hand signals.

If ya watch you can get good deals on pups. Mine go for $125 males and $150 Females. Thats Vet Checked @ 6weeks, first shots and regular wormings with Nemex II. These are hunting dogs and I can show the mother in the field. Her pic is my avatar. I also have pics and pedigrees to email that may give you an idea of what to ask kennel owners for. For the most part puppy mills will not go so far into planning a breeding.

Here in Alaska AKC tri colored 13-15" Beagles go for $400-$600
