I'm looking for a lab pup but must have proven hunting parentage

Prefer chocolates or yellows with black noses.....pointing labs are fine as well.....

Prefer Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska etc area

Call Retriever News at 414-481-2760 and purchase a copy of their latest magazine. There will be lots of ads from breeders. Start calling some of the breeders. Even if they don't have pups available they will often know of other breeders who do.

These will be Labs from field trial lines. Some folks say these dogs are too high strung. I'm on my fourth lab from such lines and they have all be great hunters and family pets.

Look at Bear Point Kennels 303-681-5227 in Colorado and Tiger Mountain Kennel 509-962-4030. Washington.

Both specialize in pointing labs. I've had two labs from their bloodlines...fantastic hunting dogs and wonderful pets.

Hard to go wrong with a pointing lab or most any lab out of hunting stock. Chocolate, yellow, or black makes no difference, I've had all 3...simply personal preference.

Mine have all been females and fixed...simply personal choice.

Now might not be the best time to ask Babe, she's napping on the clean sheets on my bed. Call back in a couple hours or so.

My chocolate returned home from the vet clinic with four different medications and a request to return in 30 days for more blood analysis.

He's been a very good dog.....a member of the family as we all know our dogs.
