Anyone dealt with Pano - Panosteitis ?

My german shepherd puppy has come down with it - he is lean but growing too fast - 3 pounds a week.

Cut his calorific intake by 1/3 and on some pain meds. Xrays were all good.

He is just limping and his left paw is slightly bent.
