French Brittany anyone?
A local fella has a litter available. I've had two American Brittanys, one a biddable love and the other a rambunctious, bull-headed yahoo. Loved them both. I think the Brittany is among the most beautiful of all breeds, but with wide ranges in size and temperament.
These French tricolors had not been on my radar.

I rather have a Epagneul Breton from the German hunting registry, JGHV.

Bill,

for some reason, I can't enlarge the photo's.

There was a husband and wife breeder of these German bred in the Tumalo area near Madras.

Another breed that might be of interest to you,

Braque du Bourbonnais, old school Brittany.

Just imagine yourself hunting chukars, Hungarian partridge and maybe pheasant on the edge of the wheat field on the Deschutes breaks?
