Just arrived back home with new addition
Presenting Jelly Bean. He is from Spin Top Kennels in extreme North Alabama, and I could not recommend them more highly. Since the weather had been poor, the pups hadn't really been out at all yet, but Jelly Bean readily followed us all around on the frosty grass, and even gave us a nice 4 second point when he first spotted the quail in the flight pen. Mr. Holt then joked, that he thought this pup had been a little sick and I should probably go and pick another one.

I must say that this puppy is the boldest and most kid friendly pup I've ever had, and I still can't believe the price this man is getting. These are very well bred puppies for only $300. If anyone is looking for a GSP, ES, Brittany, or EP, I would certainly say to give this kennel a look.

Enough of all that, here are some pics from our trek back home. This pup has already climbed the Mississippi River Levee a couple of dozen times. LOL

He won't hardly leave my son alone, which is just terrible, of course. Wink

One of our eat/drink/pee/play stops

Nearly got him broke to the shot

Our last dog took six months to house break, and yes, I do know what I'm doing. This pup is pretty darn near there at 7 1/2 wks.

If your hunting dog is fat, then you aren't getting enough exercise. Smiler
