Ready to watch the flames and fur fly?

thats the way i learned
bought a stock rifle
built a load
practice
shot the stock barrel out and
put a better barrel on the action
practice.
i'm really not up on alot of the techniques/
terms that are conversed about.
for me the "practice" is the key, right after a load that will "put 3 under a dime" @ 100 yds.
shoot that rifle,learn it,
then shoot it some more.
i just wanted to "reach" alittle farther
than i could with my ole' 270
( the rifle that taught me to "hunt" )
and there just nothing quite like busting a smart aZZ coyote that pulls up at 600 and barks at you!

I just wish I had your resources starting out that you did. There is a 1K range within driving distance. However there is a long list to join the club. I applied last year and still haven’t got the call yet. However I don’t think, they make you go through a long range shooting class nor have any qualifications about keeping the shots on paper.

Different topic but if you want your best shot at joining the club and can't find in insider to help, apply every 6-8 months. At least they'll know you'rea serious contender.
